Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and television host popular as the anchor for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas, was raised in the area of Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl spent most of her youth taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. In her early years, she had a relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl claims that her mom once stabbed at her father over getting too close. Sheryl became a member of the military right after her graduation from her college. She was interested in comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992, as a participant on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the show Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series such as Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
