Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for a long time. Elson's professional career started out as a young actor and model. But, she's best known for her role as Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea auditioned for and was awarded the role as Lynn Tanner of the ALF successful series (1986). After many years of working in hit TV shows and movies, she decided to leave the field to raise her family. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenage daughter, was a difficult one for her. People magazine published a retrospective of her career back in 2000. Elson commented that growing up who was in the limelight wasn't an easy task. Green-eyed Elson was born New York City on March 6th, 1969. Her career as an actress was a traveling actress since her father held a job as an executive in advertising. Before her 10th birthday, she lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea was living in San Diego when she met an agent, and the role for which she auditioned for was awarded. Fusco supported the idea by saying, "ALF can drink beer due to the fact that he's over 285." When ALF began to be becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco could no longer have ALF drinking alcohol in front of the kids. This was a negative image of a role of a model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF was mature enough to not drink and drive was mistaken. In 1995, he was found to have the lymphoma. This cancer was successfully treated and he was in complete recovery for the remainder of his existence. The cancer died on June 26, 2019 aged 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
