Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a songwriter. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's produced, directed and starred for her own movies Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She was also in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was the younger child from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 1977. She has a younger sister Danielle and has a career as an artist. His father was Jewish while her mother educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up in an Reform synagogue located in Alabama.
